Give Thanks
We have every reason to give thanks to God, because of all he is and does for us. Lift up praise unto the Lord for he is good. There’s no one that can be compared with our God. He is worthy of all praise. This is a season of celebration and thanksgiving for all that God has done for us. God has taken good care of us during challenging seasons, he hasn’t failed us even when times have been quite difficult. He’s remained as God and Lord of our lives. Let’s give him praise.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever – Psalms 136:1.
God’s love endures forever. When you think of God’s love its amazing to see that it surpasses all generations. God’s love doesn’t change. Seasons and times may change, but God’s love never changes – it endures forever. Men and women of old sinned against God, and our generation has also done so much evil, yet his love still sustains us. This thanksgiving season let’s give thanks unto our God. There are many people who have lost their loved ones, they have lost their homes, they have lost their jobs, they have lost their livelihood or even lost everything and in those conditions God has remained God and master of the universe.
We thank God for all the blessings in our lives, for the gift of family and community. We are all one in Christ and he’s our God.
Who is like our God? He is good in all things, no one can understand his majestic power and dominion. He reigns in the whole world. Give thanks and praise the lord at all times. Lift up praise unto our God!
